GBA U17 Girls Win Mumba Tournament!

Our Goulbourn Hornets U17 Girls Team was in Markham this weekend for the MUMBA tournament. They remain undefeated for the season (11-0) and have now added a gold medal from the weekend!
On Saturday, the team played 3 games, ending the day with a 3-0 record.
59-44 win vs. Collingwood Trailblazers
61-36 win vs. Stoney Creek Storm
48-22 win vs. Guelph Gryphons
On Sunday, the girls met up with Collingwood Trailblazers again for the finals in a real ‘nail biter’ battle with the lead bouncing back and forth between the 2 teams for the entire game. With a strong finish, the U17 girls defeated the Trailblazers 50-47, bringing home the gold medal!
